Beta Tester Terms of Participation

As a beta tester, you are agreeing to:

• Use Real Change Partner for real sustainability implementation challenges you are currently navigating
• Engage authentically — the more genuine the challenge, the more useful your feedback
• Share your honest experience of the tool, including what worked, what did not, and what felt missing
• Complete a short satisfaction rating at the end of each conversation, and respond to any follow-up check-ins where possible
• Provide feedback directly to Dr. Jacqueline Kerr through agreed channels during the beta period

When you use Real Change Partner, Leading Real Change LLC will have access to the following:

Full conversation transcripts

We will be able to read the full content of your conversations with the tool. This includes everything you share about your challenges, your organization, your stakeholders, and the strategies you discuss. We access this data to understand how the tool is performing, where its responses are strong, and where they need to improve.

Your profile information

When you register or are onboarded as a beta tester, we will hold your name, your role, and your organization. This allows us to understand your context when reviewing conversation data and to follow up with you directly.

Satisfaction ratings, scores, and short comments

At the end of each conversation, you can rate your experience on a 1–10 scale and tell us what worked or what would have made it more useful. We collect these to track how the tool is improving across the beta period and to prioritise the changes that matter most.

Your data is used exclusively to improve Real Change Partner. Specifically, we use it to:

• Identify where the tool's responses are well matched to the challenge and where they fall short
• Refine the diagnostic logic, conversation flow, and written output quality
• Recognize patterns across beta testers that indicate structural gaps in the tool's methodology
• Improve the follow-up and accountability features

We may also use anonymized and de-identified insights from beta testing to develop the tool's case study library and training material. Where we do this, we make reasonable efforts to remove personally identifiable information from the output.

We will not share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, sale, or any purpose other than operating Real Change Partner for you. Specifically:

• No use of your data for marketing or advertising
• No disclosure to other beta testers
• No selling or licensing of your data
• No sharing with companies, partners, or organizations outside the operation of this tool

Your conversations are confidential to Leading Real Change LLC. The only people with access to your data inside Leading Real Change LLC are Dr. Jacqueline Kerr and direct team members supporting the build, who are bound by the same confidentiality obligations.

To deliver the tool we use a small set of service providers (LLM, hosting, email, etc.). Each operates as a sub-processor under standard data-processing terms and may not use your data for any purpose other than delivering the listed service. The complete current list is in Appendix A below.

Your conversation data is stored securely within the platform infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. We retain beta testing data for the duration of the beta period and for up to 6 months afterward, to allow for retrospective analysis of tool improvements. After that period, data will be deleted or fully anonymized.

We will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of any personal data breach affecting your information.

As a beta tester, you have the right to:

• Withdraw from the beta program at any time, without needing to give a reason
• Request that your conversation data be deleted. To make this request, contact Dr. Jacqueline Kerr directly at jk@leadingrealchange.com
• Ask to see the data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct any profile information that is inaccurate

Withdrawing from the beta program does not affect any data collected prior to your withdrawal, unless you separately request deletion.

Real Change Partner is a beta product. It is in active development. The quality and consistency of responses will improve over the beta period, and your feedback is central to that. By participating, you are contributing to a tool that is designed to help sustainability leaders move faster and more confidently — and your experience will shape how that tool develops.

The tool generates responses using AI. Its recommendations are not professional advice; please evaluate them against your own context and judgment.

If at any point a conversation raises something sensitive or personal and you would prefer that content not be reviewed, please let Dr. Jacqueline Kerr know directly and we will exclude that conversation from our analysis.

You must be 18 or older to participate.

By using Real Change Partner during the beta period, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and agree to participate on this basis.

If you are based in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to the processing of your personal data. The following additional terms apply to you alongside the main terms above.

Data controller

The data controller for your personal data is Leading Real Change LLC, operated by Dr. Jacqueline Kerr (jk@leadingrealchange.com). As a US-based entity, Leading Real Change LLC is not required to appoint an EU or UK representative for small-scale processing of this nature, but you may contact Dr. Kerr directly with any data protection queries.

Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given by using the tool during the beta testing phase. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting Dr. Jacqueline Kerr at jk@leadingrealchange.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

International data transfer

Your personal data will be processed and stored in the United States. The US does not currently hold an EU adequacy decision for general data transfers. By signing these terms, you explicitly consent to the transfer of your personal data to the US for the purposes described in this document. We recommend that you take legal advice if you have concerns about this transfer. We are committed to reviewing our transfer mechanisms as the regulatory landscape evolves and will update these terms accordingly.

Your additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR

In addition to the rights set out in Section 6, EU and UK participants have the following rights under applicable data protection law:

• The right to object to processing of your personal data, where processing is based on legitimate interests
• The right to restrict processing — you may ask us to limit how we use your data while a concern is being resolved
• The right to data portability — you may request a copy of the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used format
• The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — EU participants may contact their national data protection authority; UK participants may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

This appendix lists the third-party service providers that process beta-tester data on behalf of Leading Real Change LLC. Each operates under its own data-processing terms and may not use beta-tester data for any purpose other than delivering the listed service.

If a beta tester uses the optional voice mode during a conversation, additional providers process audio:

Notes for EU and UK participants

• All US-based providers process your personal data under your explicit consent.
• Where the provider offers Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent, Leading Real Change LLC's account is configured to use them.
• This list will be updated if a new sub-processor is added during the beta period; updates will be communicated to active testers by email.
